Zendaya is back with Fortnite X Euphoria Crossover

Announced in today’s press release, Epic Games is working with HBO Max to promote an exclusive offering on the streaming service. The first is a fictional high school drama that hit the Internet. The official Fortnite X Euphoria crossover event promises to introduce some exciting features to Battle Royale, including unlockable emotes, weapon wraps and, of course, exclusive Battle Pass skins. Playing the role of troubled teen Rue Bennett, Zendaya returns to the Fortnite item shop months after making her MJ debut at last year’s Spider-Man: No Way Home event.

The featured skin can be purchased for 2,800 V-Bucks, the game’s premium currency, and features Rue’s iconic clean look. By completing in-game challenges, players can upgrade their avatars to the main character’s maroon hood that hasn’t been washed since the show’s first season. Finally, you can complete the look with Bennett’s Back Bling, a ripped backpack that Principal Hayes must confiscate.

“We wanted to bring the world of Euphoria to life in the game,” says creative director Donald Mustard. Regarding the new map locations Moonlight Rollerway and East Highland High School, Mustard continued, “Our top priority was to make this place feel realistic to fans of the show. East Highland’s hall not only crawls around with hostile thug NPCs, but also No, I wanted to make these teenagers not look like real teenagers. No, they are fully mature, mature adults. This is euphoria after all.”
