Tiny Tina's Wonderlands: Endgame 'Chaos Chamber' Dungeon Revealed

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is Gearbox’s next Borderlands adventure. Odd Shooter repeats the same wacky co-op battle loops known in the previous trilogy, adding a fantastic touch to the loot pool. And, like other titles in the franchise, Wonderlands doesn’t end when the credits go up. An endgame dungeon called “The Chamber of Chaos” was released today and will allow players to continue playing after winning the main campaign. You can watch the short trailer below.

According to the press release, Chaos Chamber is “a core endgame experience that can be played endlessly.” Players enter a portal and are teleported to a random dungeon full of unique treasures, dangerous enemies, and difficulty adjustments. Here’s how it all goes: You and your squad fight in three dungeon rooms, face mini-bosses, explore another three arenas, and challenge great evil in the final realm. The portal awaits you at the end of most rooms. The team offers a selection of weights that define Chaos Chamber play. Clearing the entire dungeon will bring you a chest full of unique loot. You can also find Moon Orbs, a form of currency that helps you upgrade your weapons.

Additional factors include:

  • Crystals: Players collect and utilize crystals to earn more rewards. Players accumulate crystals by smashing iridescent crystal dice that are created after completing rooms and completing optional side objectives randomly assigned to each room. Crystals can be supplied to rabbit keys scattered throughout the dungeon for additional equipment.

  • Blessing: After collecting enough crystals to activate the Altar, players will receive a variety of blessings, from critical damage or increased ammo capacity to increased melee attacks and movement speed.

  • Curse: Curse, the opposite of blessing, is a debuff that lasts for the rest of the year and can make it much more difficult for the player to survive, but the higher the risk, the better the reward.

Lead game designer Kent Rochefort said, “There are over 60 level layouts and they will be mixed and matched throughout the run of the dungeon. Besides, all many types of enemies in the game can appear, and up to 3 different types of “armies in one room.” There are also explosive barrels and traps that fill depending on the room. Some are smaller and some are larger. Our level designers used what they thought was appropriate for each particular battle arena.”

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is available on March 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (exclusive through the Epic Games Store at launch and later exclusively through other PC digital stores).
