THQ Nordic Reveals August Digital Showcase Event Date

With the cancellation of E3 2022 confirmed last week, the summer games press conferences and announcements, which usually start in June, kick off. However, THQ Nordic is confident in their plans and has revealed the date and time of their second annual digital showcase.

On August 12th, the THQ Digital Showcase will feature all new and upcoming games from publishers owned by the Embracer Group. To exaggerate the announcement and reveal the date, THQ Nordic has released the video you see above showing a clip from the title slate. Most of the games featured in the video appeared in digital showcases last year, including Outcast 2, Jagged Alliance 3, and Spongebob Squarepants: The Cosmic Shake, but there are currently no confirmed games for the 2022 show.

The description in the video is all we have to go on with that content for now. The contents are as follows.

“Exactly which game or who will host the show is still a top secret, but as the date approaches, you can get a hint. But you can expect everything from intense, dark and harsh to bright and colorful. And just plain fun! And if you log in early, HandyGames You can also get a glimpse of what your friends are doing. Same procedure every year!”

With more than four months’ notice, there’s no excuse to miss THQ Nordic’s summer presentation series. The festival starts at 12 noon. August 12 Pacific.
