Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Cowabunga Collection Announced, Featuring 13 Games

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection has been announced and wraps up 13 TMNT games into one collection.

Unveiled today at the PlayStation State of Play, the collection includes remastered versions of classic TMNT games such as Tournament Fighters, Turtles In Time, TMNT: The Arcade Game and more. Also, as the message at the bottom of the trailer says that online multiplayer requires a PlayStation Plus, you’ll find multiplayer co-op action in some games, and some even offer online multiplayer capabilities.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection is a collection of 13 video games previously released by Arcade, Nintendo Entertainment System, Super NES, Sega Genesis and Nintendo Game Boy,” the trailer explains. “An incredibly popular and highly influential game, this collection offers gamers a unique opportunity to experience these titles with fantastic new quality of life features.”

These features include:

The Cowabunga Collection hasn’t set a release date yet, but a public trailer says it will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC later this year. The price is $39.99. Don’t forget that our new TMNT game, Shredder’s Revenge, is also coming out this year. Looks like a good year for Turtles fans.

Sony faces potential class action lawsuits alleging sexism, sexism, and prejudice against female employees within its US offices. Currently, nine women (some former and some current employees) have shared their Sony PlayStation experience in court documents.
