Silk Sonic Duo Bruno Mars and Anderson.Paak Join Fortnite's Icon Series

Keep the doors of the battle bus open as Silk Sonic’s Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak join the fight through Fortnite’s Icon Series.

The Grammy-nominated duo will be officially added to Fortnite next Thursday at 7pm EST. But before the costumes and accessories arrive at the Fortnite Item Shop, the Silk Sonic Cup opens on Monday, February 7th. Everyone will have access to the Silk Sonic item on February 10th, but you can purchase it earlier through the Silk Sonic Cup. three days ago.

You can also listen to some Silk Sonic tracks thanks to Icon Radio, Fortnite’s new in-game radio station. For example, you can listen to songs by Silk Sonic, Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak while driving. Bootsy Collins also hosts radio stations.

Silk Sonic items coming soon to Fortnite include:

• Bruno Mars costume (part of the Silk Sonic set)

• Anderson .Paak costume (part of the Silk Sonic set)

• Sound Scepter Pickaxe (sold with Bruno Mars outfit - back bling when not in use)

• Sonic Snare Back Bling (sold with Anderson .Paak outfit)

• Boombop Pickaxe

• Freedom Wheels emoji (spin the reel and redo it)

Both Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak outfits come with alternate styles. If you’re looking for a new track to play before the match, you can purchase the Somebody This Fly lobby track. You can also purchase an Emote with the door open* to use during matches.

As mentioned earlier, all of these items can be obtained from the Fortnite Item Shop on February 10th, but some can also be obtained from the Silk Sonic Cup on February 7th.

The Epic Games blog post states, “Play up to 10 matches in 3 hours in a region.” “Specific event times for each region can be found in the in-game ‘Competition’ tab. Please refer to the Silk Sonic Cup Official Rules for the number of points required to unlock clothing and accessories for that region.”

Here’s how to score in the cup:

• Victory Royale: 25 points

• 2nd place: 22 points

• 3rd place: 20 points

• 4th place: 18 points

• 5th place: 17 points

• 6th place: 16 points

• 7th place: 15 points

• 8th place: 14 points

• 9th place: 13 points

• 10th place: 12 points

• 11th place: 11 points

• 12 days: 10 points

• 13th : 9 points

• 14 days: 8 points

• 15 days: 7 points

• 16 days: 6 points

• 17th : 5 points

• 18th to 19th: 4 points

• From 20th to 21st: 3 points

• 22nd~23rd: 2 points

• 24th to 25th: 1 point

You gain 1 extra point for each elimination. To participate, you must have two-factor authentication enabled on your Epic account and be at least level 50.
