Obi-Wan Kenobi joins Fortnite next week

Players have speculated that Obi-Wan Kenobi could be coming to Fortnite soon for a number of reasons. For starters, the upcoming Disney Plus show Obi-Wan Kenobi kicks off next week, and Disney and Fortnite have an extensive history of collaborating ahead of big releases like movies and TV shows. There’s also the fact that Obi-Wan’s lightsaber is already in Fortnite as it was one of four added to the game during the 4th Star Wars celebration in May.

Now it’s officially out. The Jedi Master is coming to Fortnite to find the Highlands. More specifically, He visits the Fortnite Item Shop on Thursday, May 26th at 8:00 PM. ET. It’s geared towards his big Disney Plus show, which starts the very next day. Here’s what to expect:

As you can see, the Obi-Wan Kenobi Outfit looks as expected. Actor Ewan McGregor is also now in Fortnite thanks to his appearance in the game. However, there are other items available in the Fortnite Item Store as well.

Epic Games states that these items will be available individually or bundled together. This package also includes the Kenobi, Surrounded Loading Screen viewable below.

Finally, the Obi-Wan Kenobi Cup kicks off this Sunday, May 22nd and will be a Battle Royale Duos Tournament. Inside, you’ll have an early chance to grab the Obi-Wan Kenobi Costume and Desert Essentials Bag Bling.
