Mesoamerican sci-fi action game Aztech Forgotten Gods released in March

Azetch Forgotten Gods, a third-person action game that blends Mesoamerican culture with sci-fi décor, releases March 10th. Nintendo fans will remember the game’s debut at the Indie World showcase last April. This game comes from the team behind Mulaka.

Aztech takes place in the technologically advanced Tenochtitlan. Instead of being in ruins like the real thing, Aztech’s urban version of Aztec thrived without contact with Europeans. But that doesn’t mean it’s safe from danger. An ancient, divine threat is approaching, ready to strike. To protect Tenochtitlan rests on Achtli, a cybernetically-powered warrior wielding a gigantic mechanical fist named Lightbringer. In addition to hitting enemies with the Lightbringer, the rocket-powered armor allows Azetch to propel Achtili across the environment, meaning mobility is just as important as action. Check out the latest trailer below.

You can play Aztech Forgotten Gods on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, Switch and PC.
