Marvel Announces New Game Tomorrow

Marvel has announced that tomorrow (May 18) will be announcing a new game.

The news comes via a new tweet from the official Marvel Entertainment Twitter account, which heralds the game in a quick 22-second video. Marvel says “tuned tomorrow at 10am PST”. This means that we already have less than 24 hours to figure out exactly what it is. You can check out the teaser below.

As you can see, we get a glimpse of America Chavez you may have seen in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness recently, Ironheart making their own Disney Plus series, and Venom. There also seems to be some sort of enemy minions related to Doombots or Doctor Doom. However, the teaser ends with a splash screen featuring logos of over 100 Marvel characters, from deep-cut characters like Blink and Quake to the mainstream like Thanos and Wolverine.

Elsewhere in the trailer you’ll see the Nuverse logo and the Second Dinner logo, a game development studio. Nuverse is perhaps best known for working on mobile titles like Sonic at the Olympic Games – Tokyo 2020, One Piece: Blood Routes, and Warhammer 40,000: Lost Crusade. Second Supper worked on Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Halo, and more. With that in mind, considering that both studios have pedigree in their space, Marvel may be teasing mobile games. Of course, it may turn out to be a full console game. For now, time will tell, but fortunately you don’t have to wait too long.
