Hello Neighbor 2 released in December
Hello Neighbor 2, the long-awaited sequel to 2017’s Hello Neighbor, is finally set to release in December of this year.
More specifically, the suburban horror game will launch on December 6th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Developer tinyBuild announced this news with the release of the Hello Neighbor 2 Deluxe Edition. Also, those who pre-ordered the game will get immediate access to the beta that went live yesterday.
“You may have noticed that there are currently two editions available for pre-order,” tinyBuild wrote in a Steam post. “Hello Neighbor 2 Standard Edition pre-order includes beta access immediately upon pre-order of the full game [plus] at launch. Now, for the deluxe edition, both versions give you beta access, but the deluxe edition has a few cool additions. This includes three new DLCs and five days of early access to the game ahead of the official launch on December 6, 2022.”

Regarding the currently live beta, tinyBuild says it likes to “call it the Encapsulated Hello Neighbor 2 Beta Experience” because it gives players a taste of what it’s like to visit Raven Brooks while the game is still in development. Feelings, including location, occupants, etc. However, some gameplay elements that fans of the series expect will be included in the final release, such as fragile windows and boxes that aren’t in beta. Also tinyBuild says the beta is “spoiler free”.
Other reveals that accompany this announcement include a new Hello Neighbor 2 prize and one for those who have pre-ordered the Lofi Neighborhood Radio stream.
