Fortnite: Dwayne 'Rock' Johnson Demonstrates Foundation Role in New Energy Drink Ad

Fans have been guessing who it might be since the reveal of the Foundation, a key character in Fortnite Chapter 2’s continuing overall narrative. The best theory links The Foundation with Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. And for good reason. The character’s armor features a design that goes well with Johnson’s tattoos.

We were almost certain Johnson was the foundation, but today the actor’s new Twitter video seems to finally confirm the role. Oddly enough, when Johnson talks about ZOA, it comes from a ZOA energy drink ad that uses Fortnite-matched words (zero, upland, foundation, space, etc.).

Then, as seen above, he reaches for the refrigerator to catch ZOA, where the Foundation’s helmet sits. Of course, Johnson ignores it. That would be cheeky. But he goes back to the right to use Fortnite-centric words again. The tweet accompanying his video reads “#ifyouknowyouknow” with a robotic arm next to it. So… uh, yes, Johnson is the Foundation. We smell what you cook.

I’m also curious about the timing of this release. Fortnite Chapter 3 is just around the corner. Perhaps the Foundation is preparing to take on a more important role in the story of Battle Royale. You’ll probably hear Johnson’s voice as a foundation in Chapter 3. Now time will tell.
