Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: Free PS5 Upgrade Offer for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade: Free PS5 Upgrade Offer for PlayStation Plus Subscribers

Joe Juba, giving the Final Fantasy VII Remake released for PlayStation 4 in 2020 a rating of 8.75, said: .” Remake Intergrade released exclusively for the PS5 last summer, disappointing fans who couldn’t get their hands on the next-gen console. Still, PS Plus subscribers who redeemed the vanilla remake through a Sony-owned gaming service will get a free Intergrade upgrade. Additionally, the Yuffie Intermission DLC is available at a discounted price for a limited time.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake Twitter account posted a tweet detailing the good news (see above). The post reads like this:

“From this Wednesday [December 22]… PS Plus subscribers who previously played Final Fantasy VII Remake via PlayStation Plus can upgrade to the PS5 version of the game. 25% discount on the DLC episode intermission featuring Yuffie Kisaragi for a limited time!”

So, if you have a PlayStation 5 and own Remake via PS Plus, look forward to the Remake Intergrade update later this week! Also, the episodic intermissions are worth your time. I enjoyed my time reviewing Yuffie’s travels and seeing Midgar through her eyes.

“Episode Intermission is brought to life by a delightful yet silly protagonist. I loved how Yuffie’s personality was conveyed in the myriad ways she interacted with each setting. Exploration and combat are enhanced by eclectic music playing jazz trumpets and roaring guitar riffs…I’m so excited to see how [Yuffie] fits into the next remake.”

In other Final Fantasy news, a PC port of VII Remake Intergrade was announced at Game Awards 2021, and more recently, Final Fantasy XIV was temporarily withdrawn from stores due to Endwalker congestion issues.
