Everything Announced During Pokémon Day Stream 2022
February 27th. That means the Pokémon Company has a stream celebrating the series and all the games in it. This year has been a great stream bringing updates on many franchise titles including Pokémon Go, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and the 9th Gen reveal.

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet
The 9th generation revealed in the new trailer that ended the stream are officially Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. They didn’t name it, but they flaunted it with panoramic views, friendly Pokémon faces, and beautiful color use. I’m not sure, but I’m guessing this region is based in Spain. As you can see in the trailer, we also got our first appearances of starters: the herbivorous cat Sprigatito, the fire-type alligator Fuecoco, and the water-type duck Quaxly. Here’s a better look at each, along with information about your height, category, weight, and abilities.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus Daybreak Update
A new update for Pokémon Legends: Arceus is coming out later today. The update version 1.1.0, titled Daybreak, will add a new investigation to the game for players to participate in. You must investigate a new phenomenon that causes what appears to be an alpha pokemon. This update also adds new trainer battles to the in-game training ground. To celebrate Pokemon Day, players can receive 30 Ultra Balls, 30 Gigaton Balls, and 30 Jet Balls using the in-game password “ARCEUSADVENTURE”.
Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Mystery Gift: Shaymin
A new mystery event kicks off later today for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, which will give players a letter from the orcs. This can be used in-game to start encounters with the mythical Pokémon Shaymin, and players can add this Pokémon to their party and Pokédex. As Game Freak mentioned, the new play in this remake will take about 2 hours of playtime before the Mystery Gift feature is unlocked. You can claim your Shaymin Mystery Gift from now through March 27th.
Pokémon Go: Alola Update
The Pokémon Company has announced that starting March 1, Pokémon from Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon will begin appearing in Pokémon Go. This Pokemon is from the Alola region, and you can meet the Alola Exeguter in the mobile game right now while we wait for the official update on March 1st.
Pokémon Union
A new type of battle, Full Fury Battle, is added to the game today, and on special days posted on the official website, you can play with any Pokémon, regardless of license, in this mode or any mode in Pokémon Unite. In addition, a special Pokémon Day event is underway, which includes a commemorative Pokémon Day trainer fashion item that can be obtained simply by logging into the game during the event period. We’ve also got a new look for Hoopa joining the game, and a tease for Duraludon, the next Pokémon to be added to the roster after that.
Pokemon Masters EX
Pokémon Masters EX is celebrating its 2.5th anniversary this month and celebrating Pokémon Day with a new trainer. Victory Road is a big new feature and within it you can team up with a Sygna Suit Red, Sygna Suit Blue or Sygna Suit Leaf trainer. You can also get 5000 Gems by trying Victory Road. The Pokémon Company also revealed in today’s stream that May and Latias, Skyla and Tornadus, and Raihan and Flygon are joining the game with their own special outfits. Log in today to receive 3000 Gems.
Pokemon Cafe Remix
Pokémon Cafe Remix is shipping. This new feature comes thanks to Pelipper, who will deliver orders to others. Sometimes Pelipper passes commands to new Pokémon in games like Victini. The trailer for this update shows that Victini will be particularly useful in Pokémon Cafe Remix’s new puzzle mode, which will be released later this year. In addition to that, there are three new events.
The first event is Bulbasaur’s Happy Pokémon Day, which includes a 7-day login bonus event. On the first day you can get a special crown of Bulbasaur. The second event is an increase in the probability of the glittering beeper appearing. The third and final event is that all players will be able to use the in-game Express Shipping for free 11 times. As the second anniversary of Pokémon Cafe Remix approaches in June, The Pokémon Company says many new Pokémon will be added to the game.
New online pokemon animations
The Pokémon Company announced on stream today that a new “online animated series” set in the Hisui region has begun production. In other words, the game takes place in the world of Pokémon Legends: Arceus. The original story will be released in 2022.
