Dying Light 2 Stay Human Patch Fixes and Improvements Details

Dying Light 2 Stay Human is a fun and ambitious game, but it’s not without its technical shortcomings. Earlier today, Techland released a patch for console and PC designed to remove various bugs while enhancing the adventure with a few improvements. If you’re looking forward to running like crazy at Villedor this weekend, your antics should be softer.

Techland tweeted each batch of updates by platform listed below.

PC

  • Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur)

  • Fixed a block that caused players to get stuck in a death loop after a co-op session. Some edge cases may still be unfixed and under investigation.

  • The death screen now has a button to spawn players within the mission area which prevents blocking.

  • Fixed numerous crashes and improved game stability.

  • Added option to switch in-game voiceover between localized and original (English)

  • Various improvements to keyboard and mouse key binding options (including walk toggle option and toggle between toggle and hold aim)

  • Co-op sessions now play proper music for co-workers.

Playstation/Xbox

  • Fixed various situations where players could be disconnected in co-op mode.

  • Fixed numerous crashes.

  • Various story block fixes

  • Added additional video settings (including motion blur and distance blur)

  • Fixed an issue where players would end up in the Death Ring after a co-op session.

  • Fixed an issue where players could not sell valuables to sellers

  • Fixed an issue where one song would not be muted in music streamer mode

  • Fixed AI immortality in some rare situations during co-op play

  • Fixed various issues with stealth gameplay in co-op mode

  • Fixed various issues where AI could be blocked in geometry

  • Added various AI visual adjustments (including issues with AI animation)

  • Various balance improvements

  • Fixed a rare issue in co-op mode where colleagues could not see conversation choices

  • Various performance optimizations

  • Fixed various situations where infinite black screen could occur

  • Fixed AI corpse duplication in co-op mode

  • Fixed infinite loading

  • Fixed custom quest music for colleagues in co-op sessions

  • Fixed an intermittent screen flickering issue on PlayStation 5.

  • Enable 60+FPS VRR mode on Xbox Series X
